A native of Stanley, North Dakota and born at the Stanley Hospital, Mark attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, obtaining an undergraduate degree in biology in 2005. He then went on to attend the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, obtaining his Doctor of Medicine in 2009. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Center for Family Medicine in Minot, North Dakota in 2012, serving as chief resident his third year. He is also board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been practicing at MCMC since August 2012. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife Nicole and their 5 children. Mark’s areas of professional interest include all areas of family medicine ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between.
